We're expanding the Trev team and are on the hunt for a Field Sales Rep to deliver profitable sales growth through direct farmer sales. Reporting to our Head of Growth, this newly created role will be based in the South Island.The Trev platform is changing the way farmers record and analyse their information to enable productive, profitable and sustainable outcomes for their farming businesses. We've got a product roadmap from here to Invercargill that'll continue to improve our customers' day-to-day business and take us to new places.You will have your own region and be responsible for managing sales pipelines through to close, representing the Trev brand with pride, lead local discussion groups, and proactively building strong networks within the community to ensure a robust pipeline of farms suitable for Trev.It's going to take a lot of drive, motivation and most importantly a huge amount of resilience – not every opportunity will come to fruition, that's the nature of it, but for every setback you could come across an absolute winner!We're looking for somebody with plenty of drive, charisma and hustle. Ideally you'll have a good handle on the primary industry and are passionate about our customers, potential customers and stakeholders. You'll enjoy a fast paced environment and use your initiative to smash sales targets, appreciating that your individual contribution to the team's sales targets is a valuable part of delivering on our company goals.What your day could look like:Growing New Business: you will have your own region and be responsible for managing sales pipelines through to close, including qualifying, executing a consultative sales process and closing sales with customers.Networking & Prospecting: build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, rural professionals, industry bodies, and partners. Represent the Trev brand with pride, lead local discussion groups, and proactively build strong networks within the community to ensure a robust pipeline of farms suitable for Trev.Revenue Forecasting and Reporting: collaborate closely with the Head of Growth to develop accurate and insightful monthly and quarterly revenue reporting. Provide regular, data-driven reports on pipeline and sales performance to your team and leadership.Growth Initiatives: work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to optimise sales and marketing approaches to growth.
