Field Production Manager

Due to an internal promotion we currently have a vacancy for an experienced Field Manager to join the team. You will be working across a variety of programs across the Auckland Metro, where no two days are the same.
Based in Westfield, you will provide Gangers and field staff with practical field advice on job delivery and be responsible for ensuring that your Gangers are delivering quality work using the agreed systems and methods.
You will demonstrate the competencies in our Leadership Capability Framework in your management style, and be driven to build a high performing team who deliver quality work on time and to code. You will set clear expectations and monitor the performance of both your team members and the team as a whole.
You will have a continuous improvement mind-set, and be able to easily spot productivity improvements, make the necessary recommendations, and follow-through to implement these.
Your Skills:
Strong leadership skills and the ability to grow a high performing team
A commitment to Zero Harm
Sound knowledge of Codes, Standards and Rules
Discipline around cost control
Hold a clean Class 2 driver's licence
To secure this position, you will have demonstrated experience in managing a team of staff preferably in an infrastructure environment. Ideally you will possess strong knowledge of track and/or structures maintenance, with a familiarity of the rail infrastructure codes and standards.
