Our Fibre Supply Team is seeking to appoint aFibre Supply Analystto join the Team, based either at the Kinleith Mill in Tokoroa or at the Fibre Team office in Rotorua.
Reporting to the Fibre Supply Manager, this role is to support the Fibre Supply Team with a broad range of activities. The role primarily focuses on supply planning, both long and short term, across a number of fibre supply categories at both our Kinleith and Tasman pulpmills, to ensure the team delivers, right cost materials and services to our manufacturing sites.
Key responsibilities Include:
Long/short term fibre supply planning to meet the dynamic demands of both pulp mills and biofuel;
Detailed analysis of all aspects pertaining to the fibre supply chain;
Co-ordinating budget activity & reporting;
Monitoring delivery performance;
Managing quality aspects of fibre and biofuel materials, including stock rotation;
Monitoring contractor performance & KPIs;
Contractor supervision & management;
Identifying opportunities for process improvement;
Managing a varied range of wood fibre related projects (cost benefit analysis).
To be successful in this role you will have;
Preferably a Bachelor of Forestry Science or Bachelor of Business majoring Supply Chain Management or similar;
Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in forestry or consulting;
Demonstrate strong supply chain planning and analysis;
Proven attention to detail, while having the ability to consolidate the bigger picture;
Solid time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and work to deadlines;
Advanced Excel capabilities;
A full drivers licence as there will be some travel required between sites.
