They have four sheep and beef farms within their farming umbrella totalling 4600ha.Te Tui Farm is a 600ha, sheep and beef breeding and finishing farming operation, in the Fields Track area.
It has a mix of beautiful fertile flats through to some steeper hill country.
The property boasts excellent infrastructure with the recent development of 100ha of the flats into a bull unit, with the rest of on easy to steeper hill country for the breeding ewes and cows.WHATAs the Farm Manager you will be part of the wider farming operation but also be fully responsible for the day to day management of this lovely property.
The owners have established good farm policies but are also looking for some input from you.
This is a role where you will be working autonomously and when required casual staff will support you from within the wider farming business.
You will need to be able plan your day and be a strong self-starter.Ideally you will have an excellent level of stockmanship and a strong understanding of animal health and be able to follow the set animal health plan.
You will require a team of 4-5 well controlled working dogs.
