Farm/Family Help

Hello there,We are looking for an energetic person or couple, to help our family on the farm and in our home during our busy period (calving time) on our small dairy farm in Southland.This is a full-time position starting now through till approx. October/November.We are a small family farm, with 300 cows and a herringbone cowshed. The farm role involves working alongside us to assist with milking cows, feeding calves, using a quad bike to bring cows in, and general farm work. Experience in working with animals, milking cows, driving quad bike and/or tractors would be ideal. The house role involves cooking dinner meals, child-minding (supervise play with the older children), and some general house cleaning (vaccuming etc). The balance of farm and home help can be tailored to suit.We are providing a large private warm room with separate facilities, shower/toilet. Room is furnished with bed, furniture, microwave, kettle, toaster & fridge. Food provided, and WiFi. Work days/roster to suit.We would encourage you to explore our region on days off, being a drive away from TeAnau, Fiordland, Queenstown & Dunedin.We look forward to hearing from you.Kind regards :)
