We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Factory Foreman to take the reins of our dynamic and fast paced factory. The factory is the engine room of our business and as such, this role is pivotal to our ongoing success. Excellent Leadership, Time Management and Staff Management Skills essential!

About the role

Main responsibilities of this role include:
Liaising with the Factory Manager and Production Manager to deliver quality panels on time for projects.
Delegating jobs to the factory team (Fabricators/Factory Hands/CNC Operators/Welders) based on skills and experience.
Quality control of all jobs.
Effective management of staff including labour/hours management, breaks, OH&S, performance issues, training and inductions.
Safety management on the factory floor.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role you will have:
Experience in sheetmetal fabrication and factory equipment including brake press, guillotine etc.
Minimum 2 years factory foreman experience with a proactive approach to factory activities within given timeframes.
Excellent attention to detail.
Excellent people management and training skills.
Strong organisation, delegation and follow up skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Good time management.
