The Operations team is responsible for providing a wide range of core administration services to the firm including telephonist services, reception, mail, catering and property facilities management.

The Facilities Assistant ensures that KPMG, our staff and our clients enjoy a well-maintained, pleasant and secure environment. This role will hold a crucial part in ensuring that a variety of operational functions run efficiently on a day to day basis
No prior Facilities experience is required - but you should have a strong track record of customer service either from a Hospitality, Retail or similar background. You should be able to demonstrate what good customer service looks like and how to make our clients (your customers) happy!
The successful applicant will be a customer service super star who knows the importance of being a team player
What you'll bring to our team:
Handle queries from both our internal stakeholders and clients in a friendly and proactive way!
You’ll have responsibility for being our ambassador on the client floor, making sure that spaces are set up and functional for requirements
Set up meeting rooms into the required configuration throughout the day, you’ll liaise with PA’s/Partners and other staff on a regular basis
Manage the security system for new starters, leavers and contractors, access reports where required and regularly audit the integrity of the system
Provide a “helpdesk” service for maintenance and repairs of KPMG premises in conjunction with external suppliers and the landlord where required e.g. lifts, HVAC, lighting, cleaning issues whilst keeping stakeholders up to date on progress
Responsible for contractor management and Health & Safety requirements
Maintain a healthy work environment for our staff and clients
Manage the allocation and distribution of carpark cards to authorised team members and act as a backup for valet staff if required
Arrange staging and event set up when applicable
You’ll need to be flexible with working hours as some events may require you to work outside of standard business hours
