Join our dynamic team at Sign It Signs, where we specialize in delivering custom signage and shopfitting solutions for a variety of industries.Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Fabricator/Installer to help us create and install a wide range of signage products.
As part of our team, you'll work on diverse projects, from concept to installation, utilizing CNC routing and laser cutting technologies.Key Responsibilities:Operate and maintain CNC routers, laser cutters, and other fabrication machinery to produce custom signage.Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accuracy in fabrication.Assemble and install signage on various surfaces, including walls, windows, and exterior structures.Collaborate with design teams to refine specifications and ensure high-quality results.Ensure projects are completed within specified timelines and budget constraints.Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following company safety protocols.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machinery or installation during the fabrication process.Qualifications:Strong understanding of materials, techniques, and industry standards in sign fabrication.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.Skilled in the assembly, finishing, and installation of signage products.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to installation sites.Preferred Skills:Experience with 3D routing and engraving.Familiarity with software like Rhino, Fusion, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design programs (Training can be provided).Welding or electrical experience for certain types of sign production and installation.Experience with woodworking and joinery is a plus.Previous experience working in the sign industry is a plus.Experience with elevated work platforms.Why Join Us?Competitive salary and benefits.A collaborative and supportive team environment.Room for growth and advancement within the company.Work on a variety of creative and exciting projects.If you're passionate about craftsmanship and have a keen eye for detail, we'd love to meet you!Applicants must reside in New Zealand, preferably Queenstown, and have a valid work permit.
