Our client, one of New Zealand’s most exciting organisations is seeking an Export Documentation Manager to join their Export team in Tauranga.

Key responsibilities include:
Overall management and control of Export Documentation Services
Assistance in the preparation of commercial analysis for special projects and leading in the development of systems/models
Managing the external export documentation service provider in accordance with agreed SLA and KPI’s
Receiving, checking and where appropriate approving Letters of Credit / Standby / Structured Trade Instruments
Managing and collating various reporting functions such as LC split between banks, financial forecasts, cost recovery for EXD services
Customer visits including each major business area within Bay of Plenty, Waikato, Auckland and Northland at least once every 6 months
Key to your success will be your proven minimum 5 years’ experience in an Export management role.
In addition to this you will have:
Detailed understanding of Export documentation process (end to end)
Trade finance knowledge – Letters of Credit / Universal Customs and Practice Rules (UCP600 / URC522/ ISBP/ eUCP / eURC)
In depth understanding of export requirements and logistics activities
Export statutory and legal requirements within New Zealand and off shore requirements
Financial risk management understanding and experience
Experienced user or have functional understanding of Elixir, Prodoc, SAP, MS Office, Power BI
