Experienced Welders

Based in East Tamaki, Metal Skills provide an end-to-end manufacturing solution for sheet metal fabricated products; we are a reputable and privately-owned business that provides a fun and friendly culture and a 'state of the art' purpose built, work environment.
We are on the hunt for two new team members to join Metal Skills as Experienced Welders; on both the day and afternoon shift. To be considered for this position, you must be extremely reliable, have great communication skills, a 'can do' attitude and a friendly nature.
You will need to be able to hit the ground running, so it is important that you have the following skills and experience:
Mig welding and fabrication experience Tig welding experience (a bonus but not essential) A genuine interest and desire to work with sheet metal A strong work ethic and a focus on quality and workmanship The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings The ability to problem solve and make suggestions High energy levels and the ability to work autonomously and independently An understanding of current health and safety procedures Last but not least, you will need a great sense of humour, and attitude to fit in with the team!
