Experienced Courier Driver

Our company (Courier Post contractor) is a highly successful company offering courier delivery throughout New Zealand. We have a permanent job opportunity for a courier driver in Highbrook, Auckland.
The position requires an energetic person who is able to start work early morning at 5am latest. Our drivers are required to work 8-12 hours each day, with a finish being when all deliveries have been made. Our drivers are required to be available to work on weekends, public holidays and must be flexible regarding hours on weekdays.
NB: Couriers are an essential service during the COVID levels so the successful applicant must be prepared to work during any future levels 3 & 4 plus be willing to comply with all Ministry of Health guidelines for their own, and our customer?s, safety.
The successful applicant will:
Have excellent interpersonal skills committed to customer satisfaction and transporting items in a safe and timely manner
Pick up and drop off items while adhering to assigned routes and rigid time schedules
A clean C1F driver license is essential with no history of traffic violations for at least the last 3 years
Previous experience in courier delivery is essential as this role if for an immediate start
Must be physically fit and able to lift 25-30 kg if necessary
Good area knowledge
Quick worker able to scan and sort parcels at speed
Clean MOJ Report essential
Alcohol zero tolerance required
Commitment to following health and safety policies
Drug test required
