In recent years, we have expanded our domains of practice to become one of the leading clinical pharmacy services in Australasia with robust systems to provide an end-to-end service to our patients, from admission to discharge. Aligning with the New Zealand Hospital Pharmacy Career Framework, we have a clearly defined career progression pathway that enables our pharmacists to advance and excel in their careers in the clinical setting as specialist and advanced pharmacists, as well as other roles in education, leadership and management. The key priorities for this role will be to continue growing your clinical expertise, ensure safe and effective use of medicines within your clinical area as well as act as a coach and mentor for junior staff to enable their professional development. In addition, you will be given opportunities to develop your leadership skills and to support the management team while we strive for optimum service delivery and achievement of service and organisational goals. Essential: New Zealand Registered Pharmacist with current APC or eligibility to obtain oneMinimum of 3-4 years of hospital experienceHighly developed clinical pharmacy competencies and technical abilityRelevant postgraduate qualifications for senior or specialist appointment– minimum Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical PharmacyExperience in quality improvement in pharmacy is desirableMotivated and positive attitude; leadership qualitiesAbility to teach and train othersExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to contribute to extended pharmacy service hours, oncall and weekend rosters We offer highly competitive remuneration commensurate with your skill, experience and qualifications.
