Experienced Barista

Our café is a very popular, high profile and busy café in Christchurch. We pride ourselves in delivering first class customer service along with outstanding coffee and food. Our staff are a fun loving group and are great to work with.We are currently looking to employ an experienced barista to join our team on a part-time basis.Tasks and Duties:Operating the tillMaking coffeeServing customersPreparing some foodsFollowing our cleaning roster and washing dishesThe applicants must have the following attributes:Very strong, confident barista experience or cafe till experience - you must have at least 6 months experienceAn active, vibrant and customer focused personalityGood physical fitness to manage the high-speed rush hours!Good attention to detail and a passion for excellenceThis is a weekend role with 6-16 hours a week and you will need to be comfortable working weekends. This is a rotating roster so some flexibility in your university schedule would be advantageous. You must be available to work on Saturday and Sunday. Please note that as part of the interview process, there may be an unpaid trial of one hour - As this is unpaid, no work is to be done during this hour. This should be discussed with the employer.If you are hard worker, like coffee, food and people, tell us about it by applying now!
