Good Group Hospitality is an established and expanding hospitality business with venues located in Auckland and Queenstown We have been in operation for over 20 years and pride ourselves on providing premium fun dining experiences to the thousands of guests that visit each year We also do our best to ensure that our staff stand out from the rest are enthusiastic and have the ability and passion to consistently exceed our customer expectations We are currently looking for experienced hospitality people to join the team at White Wong s Newmarket as either an Expeditor Pass Master or as Runners Along with your experience we are after individuals who will thrive on working in a fun fast paced and a high volume environment working alongside a committed team with a strong service focus These roles are based in the Rooftop on Broadway Westfield Newmarket which provides a great opportunity to excel and showcase your skills and passion as an overall leader who can inspire staff through a busy service with a cool and experienced head Expeditor To coordinate the smooth running of all interactions between the Floor and the Kitchen The Expeditor ensures that all kitchen orders are prepared in a timely manner and according to menu and customer specifications The Expeditor finalises the presentation of the plate and ensures that orders flow from the kitchen to the diners The Expeditor will also direct kitchen runners and wait staff who are delivering completed orders Skill set needed Can work well under pressure Proven skilled multitasker Perfected communication skills A keen eye for detail Flexibility must be prepared to step into the kitchen or on to the floor at a moment s notice Staff management skills Minimum 6 months experience in a similar role Runner To provide assistance to waitstaff and bartenders at restaurants Runners work to get food and beverages from the kitchen or bar to the table as quickly and seamlessly as possible They present these to the customer ensuring that everything looks as good as possible while also being knowledgeable enough to be able to answer questions and instruct the customers where needed Skill set needed Must be reliable punctual and well presented Ability to carry 3 plates drinks tray Must have a good command of English Ability to work in a fast paced environment Excellent communicator and team player Minimum 6 months experience on the floor of a restaurant or cafe If you think youve got what it takes to be part of the team at Newmarkets busiest restaurant then please contact the Venue Manager Rebecca McBride today Please email becca whiteandwongs co nz with your CV and cover letter We look forward to receiving your application Explore your opportunities by checking out our venues too at www goodgroup co nz
