Responsibilities

The Social Media Marketing Intern should be an energetic, self-motivated individual to join our marketing team this summer! Do you love social media? Do you love creativity? Are you in school majoring in Marketing or a similar field? If so, this may be a great role for you!
We are seeking a full-time summer intern who is passionate about social media to assist in creating and publishing social content, developing blog posts, managing the company SharePoint site, and supporting our sales team.
Generate ideas, gather content, and write blogs and social posts
Learn brand and logo standards and ensure proper usage inside and outside the company
Assist our sales team with events, communications, and other tasks, as needed
Help with other projects, such as formatting internal and external documents, presentations, and forms
Assist in managing our company website, intranet, and social media
Be an integral part of a B2B insurers branding and communications efforts
Work on a wide variety of internal and external communication projects
Assist with content creation and digital marketing to customers and insurance brokers
Paid position during May-August 2022 (start and end dates are flexible)

Qualifications

Junior or senior in college pursuing a degree preferably in marketing, social media, writing, journalism, English, communications, public relations, or related field, or the equivalent
GPA of 3.0 or higher
A passion for digital and social media
Extremely detail-oriented and able to multi-task and juggle multiple deadlines
Proven Word and PowerPoint skills
Experience with social media, digital marketing, and marketing tools
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proactive, self-motivated person who can work with limited oversight
