About this opportunity

Headed by the Group Event Director and working with a supportive, collaborative and strong team on a full-time basis, as the Event Manager for Naturally Good Exhibition your focus will be on creating, implementing and then executing a show business plan to achieve agreed KPIs and the successful delivery of the event. You will actively immerse yourself in the Natural and Organic space and lead the team to meet or exceed sales targets, exhibitor targets, exhibitor satisfaction, increase brand value, and position the event for future growth.

About you

We're looking for a commercially savvy, creative, hard-working, driven Event Manager who has great attention to detail. You will be proactive, adaptable and flexible in your approach. As a great communicator you will demonstrate superior customer service and high attention to detail, capable of organising and prioritising your responsibilities through demonstrating excellent time-management skills, working to tight deadlines and managing multiple tasks simultaneously. You will have a positive attitude and be self-motivated, able to interact effectively with a number of different internal and external stakeholders, understanding the value of the strong relationship you will have with the marketing team.

To ensure your success in this role you will have:

A relevant business/tertiary qualification (preferred).
Strong proven record of leading a sales team to exceed targets, and effectively and efficiently managing support staff to deliver or exceed on objectives.
Proven ability to create, deliver and evaluate a comprehensive show business plan including sales, sponsorship, visitor and exhibitor strategies.
Minimum 2 years experience in a commercial event management environment.
At least two years B2B marketing experience in attracting sponsors, associates, exhibitors and delegates.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
The willingness to travel and work away from home over show period.
