Evening Operations Supervisor

A vacancy has arisen within our Island Operation for an Evening Operations Supervisor (13:30 -22:30hrs Mon to Fri) based at our Cowes Depot.
The successful applicant will be hard working, well organised with an outstanding geographical knowledge of the Island and will have a flexible working attitude.
Highly motivated, with excellent communications skills and having the ability to work within a team on a shift rotation are vitally important within this role.
A range of business tasks are undertaken to support the smooth and efficient running of the Island
Operation and the following key skills will be essential for this position:
Excellent leadership, negotiation and organizational skills.
Able to communicate effectively with others.
Able to efficiently and effectively handle constantly changing workloads and prioritise accordingly.
Excellent problem solving skills.
The ability to remain calm under pressure.
A good understanding of Driver’s Hours, Tachograph and WTD laws (CPC in National Road Haulage would be an advantage, but not essential).
PC literate (training given on company systems)
Counterbalance Forklift licence would be an advantage, but not essential.
