ESTIMATOR REQUIRED - WHANGANUI Shields Bros Panel and Paint have numerous collision repair shops across NZ. We are a family run business for over 40 years. We pride ourselves in providing an interesting and rewarding working environment for our valued staff. We are looking for a professional, pro-active person to join the team at our Whanganui branch to offer support with estimating. Full training will be provided, so previous estimating experience is not essential. As the ideal candidate you will have the ability to learn how to assess and estimate motor vehicle repairs. Along with a thorough understanding of customer service you will be dealing with not only our valued customers, but also their insurance companies claims and assessing teams. Your great coping skills, whilst functioning efficiently under pressure within this fast-paced environment will shine through. This role demands explicit attention to detail that is vital to ensuring every vehicle that comes in meets our high standard of workmanship. The right candidate will have: - Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage own time efficiently The capability to communicate with both customers and their insurers alike Strong coping skills to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Have a professional work ethic within multi-cultural environments. Be self-motivated, reliable and enthusiastic. Must have Collision Repair or automotive industry experience. Strong computer skills, software training will be provided.
