We offer a CPD allowance each year as well as two CPD days a year.Competitive hourly rate: $35 - $37 gross per hour plus 20% night and weekend allowance offered.Closing date for applications is 1st June 2025Job DescriptionJob tasks and responsibilities Leading the ER nursing team and ensuring the smooth running of the ER departmentRostering and managing leave applications for your team.Attending regular team leader meetings and actively working towards the development of the clinic and the ER nursing teamAssisting with training and development of the team and other teams within the hospitalSenior nursing of referral and emergency patients, including high-dependency casesHours of Work75-80 hours per fortnight10 to 12 hour shifts - negotiableTo be successful in this role, you will need to be flexible to cross over day and night shifts, when required.Membership of the NZVNA & VECCSIn house continuing education programmeWellbeing support such as free counselling services, mental health trained leadership, free flu vaccinesA fun work environment with an active social committee!Onsite parkingWork RightsVisa sponsorship is available for this position.About ARC VetsEstablished in 2016, ARC Vets is an independent NZ family-owned referral practice with two state-of-the-art small animal hospitals in Auckland, ARC Central Ltd in Freemans Bay, and ARC North Ltd in Albany.
