OverviewABOUT THE POSITIONVHB's growing Springfield, MA office is seeking an Entry Level Civil Engineer to support our Land Development practice and a multitude of built environment projects (e.g., site development, roadway design, water resources, traffic analysis, energy distribution).ResponsibilitiesWork within a team of professionals in developing site civil engineering plans and specifications for a multitude of land development projectsCivil engineering for various site designs including grading and drainage design, utility design site and roadway layoutSupport preparation of land development design and permitting documentsSkills and AttributesExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsSelf-motivatedAttention to detailAbility to think criticallyAbility to multitaskExcels at working in a team environmentQualificationsBS in Civil Engineering0-1 years of professional site/civil engineering experienceEIT/EI preferred, or the ability to obtain within 6 monthsAutoCAD, HydroCAD and StormCAD experience is a plusExperience with GIS Systems is a plusApplicants must be legally authorized to work for VHB in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.We are VHB!
