Enterprise Architect – Wellington

The work we do in the MSD Enterprise Architecture team helps to enable the Ministry, its partners, and the New Zealand Government to provide critical Social Welfare services to improve the lives of New Zealanders. With many large-scale initiatives underway, we're looking to expand our Enterprise Architecture team across different experience levels.
As an Enterprise Architect, you'll shape and drive the future technology strategy that delivers New Zealand's social services, in a role that has a wide sphere of influence across the Ministry. You'll be a part of one of the largest IT groups in the country, with the size and capability to make a major contribution to New Zealand society through innovative technology delivery.
About you
This is a great opportunity if you're naturally consultative and you're looking for an opportunity to be involved in enterprise-wide programmes of work. You also have:
A breadth of architecture experience from across the technology industry
Strategic thinking, with the ability to demonstrate a pragmatic balance between short-term agility and longer-term benefits
Understand enterprise architecture frameworks and best-practice architecture patterns and principles
Previous enterprise architecture experience in the public sector and/or working in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment is advantageous.
You'll be highly skilled in
Developing architecture strategies and roadmaps
Providing governance across technology solutions
Working in teams as well as being able to lead
Stakeholder management and communication at all levels.
