About the Role
An exciting vacancy has come up in the Ophthalmology Outpatients Department for an Enrolled nurse to join their team on a fixed term, full time basis.
Our Ophthalmology Outpatients Department offer a highly varied workload and the opportunity to work alongside multi-disciplinary teams. Enthusiastic nurses with a “can do”’ positive attitude who enjoy the challenge of a working in a busy but rewarding environment and who can demonstrate adherence to high nursing practice standards will thrive. This is a fantastic opportunity to work collaboratively with a dynamic team of health care professionals from a variety of disciplines, and gain further exposure to develop your repertoire of nursing skills.
Hours are worked between Monday and Friday rostered, however there the occasional Saturday cover as required by the department.
About You
To be successful in this very busy role you will need to have an interest in Ophthalmology, be able to demonstrate resilience, won’t mind putting in some hard work and be open and willing to up-skill as required. You’ll also be a confident communicator with a friendly demeanour and someone who values patient centred care. In return you’ll gain great work experience in a multidisciplinary team and the opportunity to develop your skills.
