English Tutor - Auckland

Henderson, AucklandCasualWe are looking for someone with excellent communication skills to tutor a student from China in English. The student has a full time job in New Zealand and is looking to increase her fluency.The lessons will not necessarily have any structured content. We can talk about whatever is interesting or popular at the moment, including work-related talk. We can also do some structured study if you have some good ideas.You may be studying to be a teacher or have a strong passion for teaching. Some knowledge or experience in teaching English as a second language would be ideal.We will only be accepting female applicants as this is what the student is comfortable with.This is a casual job. We are flexible on the location, and can discuss the time and place to meet for each session. The sessions will be for a couple of hours a week to start, with a potential for more if you are suited.Pay rate: $22 per hour. You will be paid after each session.
