Engineering Officer - Water

We are looking for a motivated Engineering Officer with experience in provision of water infrastructure for new developments and pipeline renewals.If successful you will be responsible for the monitoring and inspection of subdivision and land use consents works involving water assets as well as managing the annual renewals programme. Key areas of responsibility include:Site monitoring and inspectionPlan checking and approvalHealth and SafetyCompliance with standards/quality assuranceContract supervision and claim processingBuilding strong working relationships with contractors and suppliersApplicants must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, an ability to collaborate to achieve outcomes and have sound contracting/supervision background. A working knowledge of databases, spreadsheets, GIS and asset management tools are important for this role.
