Our Wellington based Engagement Manager was approached by someone he has a long history with and was offered a leadership position that was too good to pass up.
Our philosophy is: support people when they work for us and support them if they leave – and keep the doors wide open for them to one day return!The Role – What Does It InvolveAs the Engagement Delivery Lead, you'll oversee the successful delivery of client projects while strategically managing client relationships to drive additional business.
You'll act as both the programme manager and the key client contact, providing exceptional service delivery and account management while negotiating new contracts or extensions, deepening client engagement, and ensuring long-term partnerships.This role is based in Wellington.
We have central city offices in both Auckland and Wellington, close to transport hubs, which make it easy when you venture into the office.
We have 1 day per week as a Connect Day, where we come together in the office as a wider team.Who's Our Ideal Person For The Role?You'll be a seasoned Programme Manager with around 15 years' experience in managing projects end-to-end, delivering on time, within scope, and on budget.
It's important you have experience running multiple Technology projects and multiple workstreams simultaneously.Your stakeholder management skills are second-to-none.
You're skilled at building and deepening client relationships during projects, including wider executive level engagement within the client.
You're also experienced in identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities during engagements.With deep commercial acumen, you will demonstrate understanding and strategic management of costs within clients and be highly proficient in negotiating contract extensions and new workstreams.We're seeking someone experienced in professional consulting who understands the dynamic nature of this work and is happy to work hybrid.
