This role will play a key part in driving energy efficiency, carbon emission reduction, and sustainability initiatives across the university.You will focus on data analytics, energy and carbon emission monitoring, and identification and facilitation of energy-savings and carbon emission reductions opportunities to optimise energy use, reduce carbon emissions, and improve operational efficiencies.
You will also be synergistically responsible for metering and account management, forecasting energy costs, energy and carbon reporting, and promoting a culture of carbon awareness and engagement.
Reporting to the Manager - Engineering, you will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to achieve Massey's goal of becoming Net Carbon Zero.About YouYou are a technical expert in energy efficiency and carbon management, with strong skills in data analysis, technical analysis, payback analysis, and identification and facilitation of energy-savings and carbon emissions reductions opportunities.
You thrive in a collaborative environment, can engage effectively with key stakeholders, and provide expert technical advice.
You are goal focussed to achieve verified energy saving and carbon emission reduction targets.
Your expertise in Building Management Systems (BMS), energy and carbon reporting tools, and sustainability initiatives will be crucial to this role.Requirements For The RoleBachelor's degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Science, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or Environmental Engineering, with a focus on energy efficiency and carbon management.Minimum of 3 years' experience in a relevant industry energy efficiency/carbon management role.
