About the role

The City Rail Link Project is a game changer for Auckland City. We are seeking Endorsed Electricians to coordinate all site electrical activities with the Mt Eden Tunneling team. This construction site has unique complexities and challenges so we are in search for proactive people who are excited to get involves in a large scale project.

Key responsibilities include:
Identify and fix electrical and electronic systems or parts on equipment and mobile plant on site
Maintain plant and machinery equipment (electirical)
Run preventive maintenance on electrical machinery
Organize electrical activities on site to follow tag-out process
Establish and be part of redaction of documents required to comply with regulations
Implement the Electrical plan
Perform temporary electrical site installations as required
Guide and help the construction team during extension of electrical network
Provide positive leadership and mentoring to all team members within the project
Supervise a team of qualified electricians underground throughout the project
To be considered for one of these positions, you will need to offer the following experience.

About You
Qualified Electrician
Endorsed Electrician who has passed Board-approval with Mining Regulations
Desired: Experience working with PLC
You will be a self-starter, highly motivated and goal oriented
**We would consider Electrician with a minimum of 5 years practical experience in mined tunnels if you have solid international experience and are looking to return home. You would need to have the ability to gain endorsement with the Mining Regulators Board to be able to work on site**
