About this opportunity:
We are now looking for a Solution Architect who will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and developing commercially viable end-to-end technical solutions based on customer specifications and business needs. The role entails driving both short and long-term profitable business for Ericsson by closely collaborating with the Core 3 team to translate customer needs and technological opportunities into detailed technical offerings, solutions, and proposals. You will also support Consultants during the requirement analysis and high-level design phases.
What you will do:
Be responsible for defining the scope and designing solution offerings; driving end-to-end technical solutions.
Analyze customer technology, define business requirements, and participate in risk analysis.
Work with the core team on a list of potential activities and solutions.
Develop technical presentations and proposals, and deliver customer presentations.
Support the deployment of solutions.
Provide feedback to R&D.
Participate in knowledge transfer, documentation, and information sharing.
Stay abreast of new technology/technical areas and share information about solutions to enable customer competence building.
The skills you bring:
The successful applicant must have strong technical skills, expertise, and extensive experience in packet core, along with a proven track record in consulting and leading a team of architects.
Domain experience:EPC (Evolved Packet Core), 5GC (5G Core), and Core Network.
UDC and IMS experienceis a plus.
Hands-on experience in Packet Core, Policy, Signaling, and strong troubleshooting skillsin these areas.
Expertise in Ericsson's policy and compliancerequirements, with the ability to ensure that all solutions align with corporate standards and customer-specific guidelines.
Proficiency in IP networking, including deep knowledge of protocols, routing, and IP-based services.
Experience in technical roles is required, e.g., experience in network design, implementation, and operational support.
Solution Architect candidates will be assessed according to the following tracks: Domain, E2E Expertise, and IP knowledge.
Ability to work effectively as part of a diverse team in sophisticated and demanding engagements.
Self-motivated, able to work under pressure, and capable of independent learning.
Innovative mindset, with the ability to think critically and provide creative solutions.
Results-oriented with a focus on customer satisfaction and successful project delivery.
Excellent communication skills; fluent in English, both written and spoken.
