ABOUT THE ROLE
Working alongside and in partnership with allied health professionals, we are seeking an experienced Employment Consultant to provide job seeking services to clients to assist them develop job seeking skills and to gain sustainable employment.
The successful applicant for this rewarding and challenging position will be able to demonstrate that they are independent and self-motivated and enjoy working within in a diverse environment across a wide Client base.
ABOUT YOU
Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
Passionate about successful client outcomes
Enjoy assisting people to gain employment and enhance their careers
Have a resilient nature and be able to consult, negotiate and problem solve
Values driven
Ability and willingness to travel on a regular basis
Would be great if you:
Have previous experience working with a Rehabilitation provider or within the Health Industry.
Experience working with physically and or psychologically injured or ill clients
Delivering services within set timeframes and budgets
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Experience as an Employment Consultant
Have a good understanding of the labour market
Ability to find employment-based solutions to overcome vocational barriers
Be able to reverse market Job Seekers to prospective employers
Experience providing sustainable employment outcomes for clients
Experience in locating and negotiating relevant support services on behalf of clients
Proven success in building strong relationships with key stakeholders
Experience engaging with injured workers to identify their strengths and attributes
Previous case management experience
Experience marketing clients to potential Employers via a hidden job market
Sourcing work trials, host employers and monitoring clients post placement to ensure success
Current drivers licence
