We are looking for Licenced Electricians & experienced Electrical Installers to join our Inzone Industries team in Northland! Our aim is to transform into an all energy solutions business and this role will play a key part in the business.
What's the Electrician Role?
Your core responsibilities are to install, maintain, repair electrical wiring, parts and/or equipment ensuring that work is carried out in accordance with relevant legislation and include:
-Execute plans for electrical wiring for well-functioning lighting, and other electrical systems
-Install electrical parts/equipment
-Install safety and distribution components (e.g. switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels etc.)
-Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components
-Install wire-ways and wiring or cabling
-Prevent breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits etc.
-Perform effective troubleshooting to identify faults and repair or substitute damaged units, cabling or accessories .
-Maintain and service all Inzone provided tools, plant and equipment
-Supervise heat pump installers to ensure that electrical connections are safe, work and have been tested, complete testing and issue CC or ESC.
-Mentor and supervise trainees/cadets that are working toward their Electrical Installer Registration.
What?s the Electrical Installer Role?
This position is responsible to install Heat Pump Systems efficiently and safely with total customer satisfaction and includes:
-Onsite confirmation of assessment, design and positioning of heat pump system
-Install Heat pump system components, consisting of mounting indoor and outdoor units including associated connections, and may include, condensate pump and heat transfer systems.
-Explain and demonstrate system to customer
-Obtain job information from Admin and email
-Keep track of non Inzone provided stock
-Keep records of stock consumed, eh HP and accessories
-Confirm attendance with any job installs
-Maintain and service all Inzone provided tools, plant and equipment
-Assist with any other type of install and cabling such as ventilation systems, led lighting, extractor fans
Who are You?
-NZ Licensed Electrician (for electrician)
-Have experience and knowledge of electrical theory, Electrical Legislation, -Codes of Practice and Standards (for electrician)
-Understand wiring diagrams and floor plans (for electrician)
-Ability to install electrical wiring and equipment (for electrician)
-Have strong diagnostic skills and knowledge
-Knowledge and understanding of heat pump installation and ventilation systems would be an advantage ( for electrician)
-Qualified and experienced Heat Pump Installer, however if you are not qualified, you must be prepared to undergo relevant training (for HP Installer)
-Relevant electrical registration is a distinct advantage, however if no such registration is held you will be required to gain a Trainee Limited Certificate (for HP Installer)
Knowledge and experience with multi-split systems and ducted systems would be an advantage (for HP Installer)
-Have a strong and positive work ethic
-Ability to work autonomously
-Excellent time management skills
-Exceptional customer service skills
-Have high standards of work and a keen eye for detail
-The ability to work in confined or difficult work environments.
