This role includes the diagnosis and repair of faults, conducting routine maintenance activity across a wide variety of plant and equipment, as well as developing processes to improve plant reliability.
This role will be required to perform the required planned preventative maintenance while maintaining a very high level of safety standards.
This position is critical for ensuring the sound operation of all plant equipment, reducing electrical breakdowns.
This position reports into the Engineering Manager.Ideally you will have:a trade certificate and NZ EWRB registered license onlybe competent in general fault finding and problem solvingable to read and interpret engineering and electrical drawingsdiagnostic experience on PLC or SCADA technologyat least three years maintenance experience in the FMCG processing environmentknowledge of VSD's, instrumentation, and process control systems.strong analytical and problem-solving skillsexcellent communication, time management and organizational skills.A positive attitude towards ownership and accountabilityAvailability of weekend based on workloadNga painga - what's in it for you?We have a friendly, hardworking, and supportive culture.
