Electrician

Are you an 18th Edition qualified Electrician who has experience with domestic electrical work and good customer service skills, able to think on your feet and deal with fault finding and problem solving?
Our client based in Wellington, Somerset is looking for a qualified Electrician to carry out emergency call out and maintenance work at client homes across the Taunton, Wellington and Minehead areas. You will be working client houses as part of the emergency response team carrying out emergency electrical works and electrical maintenance as well as electrical testing and inspections.
You will need 18th Edition electrical qualification and ideally qualifications in testing and inspection work. You will need a positive attitude and the ability to liaise with customers on site to fix issues quickly and efficiently.
Previous experience working within the social housing sector would be beneficial.
The role will involve some out of hours call out time paid at time and a half.
Hours of work are 8am - 4pm Monday to Friday. Own company vehicle provided along with all relevant PPE.
Rate of pay is £13.72 per hour.
This is a temporary contract, potentially for up to 12 months.
