Caldwell and Levesque Limited is recruiting for an Electrician in Queenstown and the Wanaka region. This is a newly created position and is permanent full-time and successful candidates will have a pathway to progression within the company.
Reporting to the Queenstown Project Manager, as a qualified commercial Electrician you will:
Efficiently, effectively and safely carry out all general commercial electrical work, installation as defined by the EWRB ‘limits of work' and as requested/ instructed by the Site Supervisor.
At all times enthusiastically expedite all works in a professional and tradesman like manner to a level of quality that meets current accepted commercial/industry standards.
Work unsupervised, or as part of a team, to deliver high quality electrical trade services.
Be willing to work flexible hours and have the ability to manage your own time in order to meet deadlines.
Ensure a safe working environment for self, colleagues, customers, and the general public.
To be successful a candidate will require the following qualifications and experience:
Hold an NZ qualification and registration in electrical trade discipline
Hold an NZ EWRB Practising Licence
Commercial installation experience
Experience with using hand or power equipment
Experience working within Health & Safety guidelines
Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
Must be physically fit and able to work at heights and in confined spaces
Hold a current NZ Driver Licence
