The Facilities Team at Whakatane Hospital need a unique skill set to fill the newly created Electrical Technician role, this is a dual hands-on-tools and leadership function, based at Whakatane Hospital in the eastern Bay of Plenty.
You will be responsible for:
Undertaking both planned and corrective maintenance tasks associated with our electrical and controls infrastructure
Facilities Manager tasks, both delegated and providing FM absence cover
Rostered 24-hour call out response
Skills and experience:
Registered Electrician with a current practicing licence
Post trade qualifications & relevant experience preferably in a health care environment
Enchem L3 boiler ticket. Training will be provided if you don't have this
Experience in leading teams
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Computer literate
Committed to continuous service improvement
Reporting to the Facilities Manager at Whakatane Hospital, you will be an integral member of the Facilities and Business Operations Team.
