LecSafe NZ LtdAbout LecSafe:

LecSafe NZ is a locally owned company that specialises in implementing and managing electrical safety inspections, testing and tagging programs for clients New Zealand wide. We also perform electrical repairs, thermal imaging surveys, cable management services along with the supply of electrical safety products. The electrical testing we carry out forms part of our clients health and safety program by forming an effective control of electrical risks in the workplace. We have clients across a broad range of industries including construction, manufacturing, education, retail, hospitality, education and healthcare. For more information head to www.lecsafe.co.nz

We are currently growing and are now looking for that special person to join our team.

About the role:

If you enjoy variation in your job, interacting with customers, solving problems and working as part of a team then this role could be for you! The role primarily involves traveling to our various customers sites and carrying out safety inspections, testing and tagging on all applicable electrical equipment used in the workplace. Whilst on our customers sites you will also be required to estimate material costs and quantities for carrying out repairs to electrical equipment that has failed the testing. If you have the relevant EWRB registration you will also be required to carry out the repairs.
We are happy to talk to people looking for both part time and full time work as we potentially have options for both. The hours worked can vary depending on our customers business so flexibility is an important part of this role. The role is based in Auckland although travel may be required from time to time. Remuneration will be discussed with successful applicants.

You will need to hold a current Electrical Service Technician (EST) registration (or trainee limited certificates) and be flexible to meet the needs of both our team and customers.

Our work can be flexible to not only meet the needs of our customers but also the needs of our staff. For example we can work around staff who are completing further study or have other commitments outside of work.
Team members can also continue studying while working for LecSafe and we provide options around additional skills that are required such as thermal imaging training.
Team members are provided a company vehicle and phone as part of their employment package
