Electrical Revenue Metering Role

Wells is a solid and progressive nationwide company recognized for providing quality metering, instrumentation, electrical and automation services to a wide range of valued clients.
We have recently been awarded additional metering services contracts, covering a number of networks in New Zealand. Wells are seeking a Registered Electrician to be our Metering, Training, Auditing and Conformance (MTAC) Technician for permanent employment in Christchurch.
This role involves carrying out technical metering and supporting new and existing staff with training, auditing and conformance. The responsibilities include:
Undertake technical training of technicians (Wells staff and those of our partners and sub-contractors) working under the Wells Approved Test House (ATH).Carry out South Island auditing, conformance monitoring and mentoring of technical personal operating under the Wells ATH.Carry out metering installation work in the field.Assist in technical metering investigationsBe part office and part field based.
