EDTECH SOFTWARE ENGINEER – BUILD A TABLET APP (POSTGRAD PREFERRED)

One-off

* $5,000 paid project (2–3 weeks) to build and test the demo

We are on the hunt for a talented individual with a brilliant long term proposition.

You'll work with the founder (a Chartered Accountant & ex-lecturer) to develop the demo version of the software(loaded on a prototype tablet). Your work will shape the product we present to major academic institutions.

You'll focus on:

* User interface & experience design for a clean, exam-safe interface

* Software functionality & logic implementation (offline activation, annotation saving, download tracking, eBook syncing)

* Input on architecture for versioning and IP control mechanisms

* Future-proofing design for scale and integration with publisher APIs




WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

* Master's or PhD student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction or related

* OR an exceptionally skilled undergrad with a strong portfolio or proven app-building experience

* Experience in building educational platforms, offline-first apps, or UI/UX for restricted environments is a major plus

* Self-starter, entrepreneurial mindset, and passionate about tech for good
