Economics / Business Studies Tutor

Parnell, AucklandThis position is to tutor a 5th Form (Year 11) Auckland Boys Grammar student in Economics and Business Studies.Applicants will:Be majoring in Economics / Finance at Auckland University (this is not essential, but preferred as it is where the student wants to go to university)Have great marks in their 7th Form (Year 13) economics and business studies assessmentsHave good communication skillsBe keen on teaching and is able to transfer knowledge by building a good relationship with the studentHave a passion for economics and businessThe candidate needs to be able to commit to tutoring once a week. The hours will generally be between 6pm and 7pm on weekdays, with some flexibility as to which days. This will be a regular job for the whole year (aside from school holidays and the odd week i.e. Easter). There will be one hour of work a week, possibly increasing to two hours leading up to exams. There is a possibility of ongoing work into next year for the right candidate.This position is located in Parnell, so it is easily reachable by public transport and is close to the campuses of the University of Auckland and AUT.You will be paid at a rate of $35 per hour.Please note that this employer will require you to pay your own tax
