Ece Teacher - Qual Or Unqual - Montessori

We’re on the prowl for a new ECE teacher (qualified or unqualified) to join our team.
Coast Montessori Preschool is located in Silverdale, North Auckland, licensed for 45 over two’s, offering a modern Montessori programme incorporating the best of the Montessori tradition with modern teaching practices for 21st century kids. Our philosophy is child led, discovery rich and exploration based. Our teachers are guides to support the children’s learning, in a beautifully presented and thoughtfully prepared environment.
The building and outdoor area have been carefully designed with quality and innovation in mind. Resources are new and plentiful, offering children richly varied opportunities for learning and play. The centre is privately owned and operated by experienced owners.

• an experienced teacher, newly qualified or a student teacher
• passionate about working with children and helping them unleash their potential
• able to work in a team, contributing positively and cheerfully
• able to laugh – at yourself, and with others (because life is too short to take yourself too seriously!)

Please note that as all our other staff are qualified teachers, we can employ either a qualified or non qualified teacher for this role. Montessori experience or qualifications would be an advantage but are not a necessity for those willing to embrace our philosophy.
This role is ideally four days each week, 8am to 4:30pm daily, but we may be able to increase these hours for the right candidate. If we are able to source the right combination, we would consider employing two teachers to cover this role, each working a portion of the week.
