ECE Teacher - Massey KindergartenWe have an exciting opportunity for a qualified and registered ECE Teacher, to join our dedicated team at Massey Kindergarten. This is a permanent, full time role (40 hours per week), and new and experienced ECE teachers are welcome to apply. We are focused on creating a healthy and sustainable world as an integral part of our kindergarten's Silver Enviroschool philosophy.For success in this role, you will be:Someone who radiates kindness, balancing an energetic yet gentle approach to co-facilitating the learning and development of precious tamarikiA team player with a strong sense of initiative in meeting challenges and embracing possibilitiesStrongly focused on bi-cultural practice, with good knowledge of te reo and kaupapa MaoriKnowledgeable about Te Whariki, planning, assessment and internal review processesSkilled in producing meaningful and authentic documentation that reflects the child and their learningCompetent using ICT as a teaching toolPassionate about sustainability and kaitiakitanga (guardianship) of the natural environment, able to weave this in to learning experiences for children, whanau and the communityCommitted to supporting tamariki with additional learning needsAuckland Kindergarten Association has a high level of care and a desire for the wellbeing of our staff, as well as our Tamariki (children), whanau (family) and communities. Our newly introduced Wellbeing Portal, accessible via our intranet, is based on the Te Whare Tapa Wha model of health, and provides resources for staff and their whanau, as well as for use in the kindergartens for our tamariki, whanau and communities..
