We are on the hunt for a new teacher to join our team at Little Chiefs Educare in Thames.
Located in the heart of Thames township, Little Chiefs Educare is a privately owned and operated childcare centre, catering for 39 children up to six years old, with great teacher:child ratios. We have an exciting opportunity to find a new vibrant and enthusiastic team member to work in our loving, supportive and collaborative environment alongside our wonderful team of kaiako, tamariki and whanau. This position is for a qualified or in-training kaiako, however it may be available to the right applicant regardless of qualifications.

• A passionate over two teacher who focuses on building genuine, respectful relationships with the kaiako, whanau and tamariki.
• Someone with common sense and great work ethics
• An excellent communicator with the right dynamics to work well in a family-orientated team

• The willingness to embrace continual growth in the centre and in one’s self
• The ability to implement Te Whariki, and document children’s learning and development using a dispositional and virtues approach
• A reflective teacher who is self-motivated to complete paperwork and meet the Standards for the Teaching Profession
• Some who is FUN and knows how to capture the magic of childhood
