Teaching - Early Childhood (Education & Training)Inglewood Community Childcare, a purpose-built centre nestled in the community of Inglewood. We are on the lookout for an exceptional individual to join our team as a centre administrator. As our current beloved admin is leaving to take on a new challenge in her career. We are seeking someone organised, friendly, and dedicated to ensuring the smooth operation of our centre. At Inglewood Community Childcare, we prioritise inclusivity, growth and excellence in providing quality care and education to our children.This role will for a minimum of 30 hours but can be negotiated.Key responsibilitiesManaging parent accounts, including direct debits, account management and payments.Handling daily, weekly, and monthly administrative tasks with precision and timeliness.Providing exceptional customer service and support to our whanau.Assisting with enrolments, attendance records, and Ministry of Education compliance.Collaborating with the team and supporting them as needed.Maintaining confidentiality and ethics in handling sensitive information.PayrollPossibility of helping on the floor with children when needed.RequirementsProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.Experience with Xero accounting software and Discover (Our Child Management platform)Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanour.Compassion and warmth towards children, families, and team members.Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.Experience in administration, preferably within the ECE sector.Ability to problem solve effectively and find creative solutions.Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.Familiarity with account processes.A supportive close-knit team environment.Discounted childcare for team members.Supportive management team.Comprehensive induction and ongoing training opportunities.12 Sick days per year.Birthday day off.At Inglewood Community Childcare, we value laughter, camaraderie, and dedication.
