MidCentral operates an integrated model of clinical service delivery. Te Uru Ruahi (Mental Health & Addictions services) is responsible for the commissioning and delivery of MH&A services across the rohe. The new model of care Te Matapuna o te Ora, focuses on an integrated treatment approach for those who would benefit from mental health and addiction services. Our new eating disorder service is focused on developing talking therapies and related interventions across our three districts and includes an interdisciplinary Team approach. The Opportunity This role will sit in the Manawatu Locality (Palmerston North and Feilding catchment area) but may also provide some services across the rohe. The eating disorder services will be delivered in line with national and international evidence based best practice principles. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a level of knowledge with a focus on effective evidence-based interventions and skill in the assessment and management mental health eating disorder presentations within a community setting.
