The details:Permanent - 40 hours per week
We are seeking a registered health professional with community alcohol and drugs experience to join our team.
About the role:
Based in the Rural South Sector of the Waikato, you will have the potential to work throughout our four rural bases.
In this position, you will be provided an excellent opportunity to have a taste of working in a rural community setting while allowing for that all important work/life balance.
The Rural South Team strives to provide excellent care to the communities they work with. The team is very supportive and is looking forward to welcoming a new team member as we continue to grow and plan for future development.
The Waikato DHB supports clinicians to identify their career plan and undertake continuing professional development to achieve success. As a team, we encourage individuals to develop specialist skills and knowledge as appropriate to their area of work.
Requirements:
Relevant experience in an alcohol and drug or mental health setting (desirable)
Health professional qualification (i.e. Bachelors in Psychology, Nursing, Social Science, Social Work etc.)
