Class 5 Driver

AWF are recruiting on our clients' behalf and looking for full time permanent class 5, B Train drivers working in the refrigeration and frozen transport industry.

As a driver you will carry and deliver chilled and frozen goods round Whakatu and the metro region, liaise closely with the dispatcher to coordinate your next route, manage an electronic logbook, and meet delivery deadlines.

Hours

Monday to Friday 6.30am to 5.00pm, alternating Saturday 5.30am to 1.00pm and alternating Sunday 5.30am to 10.00am

To be a successful candidate you should have the following:
Hold a clean Class 5 license.
Able to work in a chilled work environment.
Previous experience and knowledge in refrigeration is desirable.
Attention to detail and manage deliveries within a specific timeline.
Willingness to learn and succeed in a Transport Environment.
Be safe and take all reasonable precautions to maintain a safe working environment.
Customer service experience
Hardworking, honest and reliable.
Reasonable standard of fitness.
