Drafting / Quantity Surveying

NZ Louvres specialises in the design, manufacture, installation and distribution of Aluminium Louvres. Our flagship product is our automated Opening Roof System.
We are currently seeking an experienced draftsman to support our business with design, drafting, quantity surveying and ordering.
The position is based at our Head office in Cambridge / Waikato.
This is a very dynamic role which requires regular site visits throughout the Waikato Region and therefore a Company Vehicle is provided along with a Laptop, Phone and all other necessary tools of the trade. Occasional travel out of the area may be required to support our nationwide network of NZ Louvres Licensees.
Key Responsibilities:
Communicating with Clients, Architects, Builders, Suppliers, NZ Louvres Management and Staff and Licensed Dealers.
Interpret plans and concept drawings as necessary.
Site Measures as required.
Complete concept plans and working drawings.
Quantity Surveying and Costing
Ordering of materials as required.
You will also have a pivotal role in on-going Research and Product Development.
You should have at least 5 years experience in the building or manufacturing industries. Must be proficient with CAD and other typical forms of business software with a good understanding of Microsoft Office products, Excel, Word and Outlook with the ability to learn our own CRM, Project Management and Accounting Software.
Communication is paramount and therefore your verbal and written communication skills (In English) should be exceptional.
You will answer directly to the Operations Manager and provide support to the Manufacturing Manager, Installations Manager and our Nationwide Dealer Network.
