Casual positions for RNs with a sound understanding of community nursing
Palliative nursing experience is preferred

About the role
We are a vibrant, friendly, multidisciplinary team, committed to providing a quality service to clients in the community. We are looking to appoint to casual positions, working on an as required basis, covering staff leave.
The District Nursing Service runs a day time roster that includes weekend shifts and the flexibility to cover on call overnight shifts for the palliative care service we provide.
N.B.These casual positions are not suitable for applicants requiring a Work Visa as there are no guaranteed minimum hours of work.
About you
If you are an enthusiastic Registered Nurse with broad knowledge and skills and a passion for community nursing, and you have the flexibility to work on a casual basis - this could be the position for you. You will have NZNC registration, a current practising certificate and a full driver's licence. Palliative nursing experience is preferred.
You will be a team player, who enjoys keeping up to date with clinical practice, with excellent organisational and time management skills and a commitment to quality.
