Devoli provide network automation tools that free up time. Time for thinking, time for action, time for business. We automate the hard stuff and help our customers create new voice, data and internet products for their clients without having to increase their headcount or train their staff. To put it simply – we help our customers do more, with less.
Founded in 2008, we have a few more grey hairs than your typical start-up! We have a long list of loyal customers who’ve been with us since the beginning, and we’re gearing up for some serious transformation in 2020 with household-name clients and game-changing projects. A team of 35-ish headquartered in Victoria Park, we’re in the process of scaling our team to support the big plans in our pipeline.

Our network engineering team underpin everything that we do at Devoli. We’ve recently completed an upgrade to our core network giving significant increases in capacity, availability and efficiency.

The network is a lean core, smart edge design built around Nokia and Juniper equipment. The next stage of the network rollout is to leverage automation and software in supporting our day to day operations.
We’re looking for someone to:
Lead in the people space – continue to foster a culture of delivery and excellence, and make sure everyone in the team is growing and developing at Devoli.

Continue to plan, manage, operate, and support our network technology – putting disciplines and structures in place where necessary.

Drive innovation in our network technology.

Be hyper-focused on our SLAs with clients - we’re delivering a reliable, resilient, and consistent network experience as a default.

Support where required on any technical pre-sales work or advanced troubleshooting (pulling your team in as needed too.)

Requirements
What we’re looking for:
You’re an experienced leader (held a Senior Team Lead or Manager role previously) and familiar right across the ‘people’ space – hiring, helping your team develop and set goals, and intentionally building culture.

You’ve been with a business through network technology transformation.

You are across the latest tech; this doesn’t mean you chase the new and shiny, but you know what’s going on in the market and you know how to weigh up the build vs buy decisions. Degrees and formal qualifications are nice to have, but relevant experience is more important.

You have experience designing, implementing, and supporting highly scalable network solutions.

Our current stack is built upon Nokia and Juniper technology – familiarity with these solutions is not required but would be helpful.
