Brendan Foot Supersite has been in business for over 40 years, leading the industry with its success. One of the largest dealerships in the region with a staff of 120, it is a family run business with its focus squarely on customer satisfaction, and in doing things differently to ensure we stay at the top.
We sell five of the most popular volume car brands in the country and a large range of quality used vehicles. We're growing all the time, and are currently looking for an experienced digital and social marketer to join the team in Lower Hutt.
This is a part time role with a 30 hour per week minimum, but the opportunity for it to grow.
You need to be energetic, motivated and results-focused, with fresh ideas and the ability to determine, create and deliver successful digital and social campaigns. Being able to analyse and report on the results of these campaigns, and make improvements where necessary is very important.
You will also need to have a keen interest in where digital and social communication is heading, with a constant eye on the latest best practice and technologies to benefit our digital presence.
This is a largely autonomous role that will work closely with a small marketing team led by the Marketing Manager, with key support and liaison from the e-commerce specialist and in-house designer. As it is a small team working on web and social campaigns, there will be some flexibility required in terms of working outside regular office hours. The role will from time to time also include assisting with events and sponsorship. Essentially a can-do attitude is what we’re looking for.
You will need a strong attention to detail, good interpersonal skills and the ability to juggle a number of tasks at one time. Having an eye for design would be useful, as would good photography skills. Videography skills would be the icing on the cake.
You’ll also need experience in website management and email marketing platforms, preferably WordPress, Campaign Monitor and MailChimp. Experience with using analytics platforms to drive better business performance is essential. Being able to spot flaws in a user journey and make improvements is a skill that is key to the role.
And an interest in the motor vehicle industry or at least motor vehicles would be handy.

You will need to be energetic and motivated with a good work ethic, but above all must LOVE digital. We want someone to determine, create and deliver successful digital media campaigns, then review those and get even better results next time. We're talking content creation and management of websites, social media and other digital channels to increase customer engagement and grow the business. We have the best product range of vehicles, and offer the best service for those vehicles. We want someone to let others know we're the best choice.
You won't need previous experience in the motor vehicle industry, but an interest in what you are marketing would be useful. You will be supported by a small but passionate team. You will have a strong attention to detail and be confident of working independently.
You'll have excellent interpersonal skills, and an ability to manage the promotion of multiple offers through a variety of channels. As you're joining a small team and working on web and social campaigns, there will be some flexibility required in terms of working outside regular office hours. The role will from time to time also include assisting with events and sponsorship.
