Forming a critical function within this highly regarded educational institution, this newly created External Relations division is currently in search for an experienced Digital Project Officer to come on board and assist with the effective delivery of key digital projects for the entire organisation. The External Relations division has the responsibility of increasing the institutions global profile, partnerships (both domestic and global) and future recruitment (which forms a major part of their yearly revenue), and utilises effective & creative communication strategies in order to achieve their goals. The role will be an initial 3 month contract (with a possibility to extend) and will be based out of their head office in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney.

You will be joining a cohesive and highly professional Digital team, that are renowned for delivering innovative and highly robust digital solutions for the entire organisation. This is a diverse role that will enable you to utilise your web content production and project management skills to effectively deliver important digital/online projects. Primarily, this position will responsible for the effective management, coordination and delivery of key digital projects for the organisation. This role will also monitor the currency, accuracy, quality and style of all digital content, whilst ensuring that all web publishing best practices and SEO principles are being adhered to.

Reporting to the Head of Digital Optimisation & Operations, your other key responsibilities will include:
Taking the lead on coordinating key digital projects, liaising with internal teams to ensure the effective delivery back to customers
Liaising closely with the Creative Solutions team to deliver key digital projects across multiple CMS including Sharepoint, Drupal and WordPress
Publishing content to other online platforms used by the organisation
Supporting the Digital team in other content and project related tasks as required
Regularly consult with members of the Creative Solutions team to ensure web design best practice (scannable, concise, current, accurate) is being adhered to in order to provide usable information architecture and which helps achieve the quality outcomes that align to the organisation's web strategy
Ensuring all pages are optimised for Search Engines ranking
Assisting in the delivery of Web Reports via Google Analytics

The successful candidate will have:
Tertiary qualifications in Online Communications or a related discipline
2+ years' experience with Web Content Production
Must have proven experience with end-to-end digital project management and delivery
Exposure to Search Engine Optimisation would be highly advantageous
Proven experience with online web publishing processes and packages (Sharepoint 2013, Drupal, WordPress and CRM Dynamics experience would be highly regarded)
Experience using web graphics editing software (ie. Adobe Photoshop or Macromedia Fireworks) would also be highly advantageous
Strong organisation skills and a proven ability to proactively meet multiple deadlines
Strong communication and consultation skills
Proven team player that also has the ability to work autonomously
